Origins

It was Sante Quaggiotto who founded the company. In 1952 he inaugurated a modern carpentry workshop in the industrial and pleasant Montebelluna, a city located between the plain and the Venetian Pre-Alps. The acronym QS, initials of the founder, recalls the pioneering era in which the ingenious initiator gave life to a company that would become flourishing and that would be appreciated even beyond regional borders until it conquered national and foreign markets: the current Quaggiotto Interni.

The territory

Industrious and refined wood artisans, trained at the valuable school of the master Sante Quaggiotto, have allowed the company to develop, attracting the attention of the clients for the exclusive quality of the artifacts, for the creativity and great professionalism of the craftsmen. The lesson of Carlo Scarpa, a Venetian architect capable of enhancing the cultural and artistic contexts of the communities of people and the territory with his projects, proved to be fundamental for the company’s growth: the arrangement of the Ca’ Foscari in Venice, headquarters of the homonymous university, is the shining example of his inventive flair and the formal rigor with which he operated.
